Project Life Title Page

I've been talking about doing Project Life for a while now.  All it is is a way to get your photos into albums & document your life weekly.  Easy enough with the Project Life products that Becky Higgins has created.  Project Life takes the pressure off of having to create a perfect page.  The kits have everything you need for an entire year's worth of scrapbooking.  I thought I'd share the things I'm using to make it easier for me.  I'm all about the easy!

I got the Amber Edition kit.  The cards are mostly double sided & interchangeable.  I may hold off on using it because the kit I really want (Olive) is coming out soon.

I kept it easy & only got this type of page protector.  Later down the road, I may need to get some others to mix it up.

I was going to use a different album for my Project Life, but I just couldn't add another album style into my shelves of these Silverstone WeR Memory Keepers 3 Ring Albums.  It wouldn't look right & honestly, I love these!

Epson PictureMate Show Photo Printer and Digital Photo Frame (C11CA54203)

My husband was so sweet & got me this printer for Christmas.  Did I need it?  No, I could have printed my photos online.  But would it help me actually accomplish my Project Life?  Absolutely!  Can I just say, this thing prints really great photos!  I think it averages out to .40 cents a print, which is more than printing at Walgreens.  But the prints are so much better!  You all know the prints matter for me...they matter a lot!

You'll notice all my photos have rounded corners.  I used the 1/4 inch side of my Corner Chomper.  The yellow corner rounder from EK Success would work equally as well...I just don't happen to have one.

As for my title, I kinda cheated.  I used the free download from Becky Higgins for an iPhone background that happens to be from the Olive kit that I'm drooling over & added text to it in Pixlr Express (free image editing that is fantastic!)  I'm not normally a digital girl...but I just couldn't wait for the new kit to get my title done.

Those of you who know me from my previous store owner life know that I am passionate about keeping scrapbooking fast & easy.  My tried & true method is to use We R Memory Keeper 4x6 photo sleeves in my album & just scrapbook the photos you want to.  Project Life is different in that this little kit you can purchase has everything you need, right there in a cute little box.  Can you do this with the 4x6 sleeves & the supplies you have on hand?  Absolutely.  Don't let my stumbling blocks be yours.  You know what works best for you.  Let me know what that is!  I'm always open to new ideas!
