2/30

Day 2 of the 30/30 Project

DSC_0161

You'll need:

  • four 4x6 photos

  • two sheets of print paper

  • one sheet of strip tease (in my case, I used Cosmo Cricket Girl
Friday Strip Tease...they have several on one sheet...all different)

  • coordinating cardstock for the mat & strip at the bottom of the page

Here's how I made mine:

  • I selected the print I wanted for the base page.

  • for the mats for the two larger photos, I cheated & used pre cut
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 scalloped note cards.  You can cut your cardstock
mats to that size using funky scissors or a decorative blade on your
paper trimmer.  (or cheat like me)

  • the two larger photos measure 3 1/2 x 4 1/2.  The smaller
photos are 3 x 3.  Don't get hung up on the sizes.  You can
    make your photos work.

  • I matted the smaller photos on 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 dot print paper
(Pebbles Inc, if you must know).  These photos are popped up with
foam squares in the center of the page.

  • I placed 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch strips of the dot paper above one photo & below the other to take up a little space.

  • I cut a 1 x 12 inch strip of the ivory cardstock & added my journaling.  I cut off the excess.

  • I cut two 1/4 x 12 inch strips of the dot paper to line the "best
friends" title on the top & the bottom.  And I used a little
1/4 x 1 inch strip of the dot paper at the start of my journaling strip.

If you'd like to create a page exactly like this one, we have six (6)
kits available today.  The kits include everything you need to
complete the layout...an entire strip tease is included so you can
change the "best friends" header...foam squares, two scalloped note
cards, & two sheets of the QuicKutz Chocolate font to complete your
layout.  The kits are just $5.  Get yours before they're gone!
