Page 18 of the 30/30 Project

Here's what you need:

  • one 4x6 photo & mat (same paper as the flower...or not, if you use a fake flower)

  • four coordinating papers (two print and two solid)

  • a big flower or two die cut flowers (I cut them on the Accu Cut)

  • two fun hat pin type embellishments (mine are Making Memories from the travel line)

  • foam squares

Here's what I did:

  • mat your photo

  • cut a 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch strip of printed paper

  • cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch piece of solid cardstock

  • cut a 5 x 5 1/2 piece of print paper

  • arrange all of the base pages, leaving between 1/4 & 1/2 inch between the papers & 1/2 inch around the outside border

  • adhere all the papers & then your photo

  • either use a pre-packaged flower or a die cut flower (it's about 4 inches wide)

  • I used a circle cut from one of my background papers in the center of the the flower

  • then I poked two hat pin type embellishments through the circle
& then adhered it to the center of the flower with foam squares for

  • I added another partial circle to the bottom of the small cardstock piece

  • then the title & the handwritten journaling
