Day 17 of the 30/30 Project

Here's what you'll need:

  • four 4x6 photos

  • three sheets of coordinating cardstock, plus a 1x12 scrap of the base page

  • one package of American Crafts "Umbrella" Thickers

Here's what I did:

  • lay down the base page

  • cut the light blue to 11x11 & adhere to the center of the page

  • cut the navy blue to 10 3/4 x 10 3/4 & adhere to the center of the page

  • adhere your photos, leaving about 2 inches from the bottom of the navy blue

  • use scissors to cut a wavy border...or come by the store & use
our wavy border die on the Accu Cut & save yourself a whole lot of
heartache (take less than 5 seconds)

  • I messed up & glued down the wavy border & then put my
letters on.  I didn't like how the border showed through the "a" so
I tore it off, applied my letters & then re attached the border
(that's why you can see that mess bit in the "aj")  Just trying to
save you some pain...the old me would have re-done the page...the new
me?  Nope, just fixed it & moved on.

If you'd like to create your page exactly like mine, there are six (6)
kits available today.  They include everything needed to make this
page, including the American Crafts "Umbrella" Thickers.  Kits are just $5.  Get yours
before they're gone!

  1. This page is so simple but so cute! Of course, the subject in the pictures doesn't hurt. Can't wait to lift this one! hpk
