Some things in the works

So I have some things in the works that I can't quite tell you about
yet.  But soon, I promise!  And they're all good...really
good!  But I have one last question for you before I can finish my
plans and I'd really like to hear your comments!

Right now my dilemma is this:  we're going back to being open 6
days soon.  Would you rather we be open on Sundays (from 11 to 3)
or Mondays (10 to 6)?  I have no problem working a few hours on a
Sunday if you think that's a day you'd like to come in.  Otherwise,
we'll go back to being open Monday thru Saturday.  What would work
best for YOU (don't worry about what you think I want...I wouldn't be
asking if I wasn't interested)?

Soon this will all be clear, I promise.  And the more help you can give me, the better!

Edited
to add 11/25/08:  Keep posting the comments!  Or send me an
email at aboutmemories@safeaccess.com.  It seems like you all are
running neck & neck on the Sunday vs. Monday issue.  Would
definately like some more feedback...and I thought of another
question:  Is there a night of the week you wish we were open
later?  Every night?  Working on the calendar & the other
"thing" is so much fun, but I can't do it without you & your input!

  1. I like the idea of you being open on Sunday, and that would open it up
for occassional crops too! I know you said that we shouldn't worry
about what you want, but I don't want you to do Sunday if you feel like
it would be too difficult for your family. So while I appreciate your
efforts in pleasing the customers don't forget your self in the process.
We love you no matter what!

  2. Ditto! Sundays are good, I won't have to listen to the football games
    anymore...

  3. I like the Mondays but that's because we always have busy Sundays and I
find myself needing stuff on Monday, but either would be good.

  4. I say, be open on Mondays. Sundays are your movie days, you need to
    keep that.

  5. I like the idea of being open on Sunday. Selfish me, then I won't have
to listen to NASCAR, football or whatever other sport on that day.

  7. hmmm...I wish you were open EVERY day, but that's just me being selfish.
I don't know if I can choose between Sunday or Monday...either day is
    fine with me.

  8. It is hard to choose. There have been Sundays in past that I have
wished you were open but then waiting until Monday isn't that big of a
deal. It just gives me more time to come up with things I need. I would
hate for you to give up your family day.
Maybe Wednesday would be a good day to stay open late if that is the
    "sale" day.

  10. That's a hard one. I agree with what others said about Sunday being a
day for family and church and all (though logistically that is an easier
day for me to get out by myself). But I guess I would vote for Monday.

  11. Although I am totally okay with you being closed both days, I vote for
    being open Sunday.

  12. I prefer Mondays. I don't shop on Sundays and Mondays my son is in
school, so I can shop child free:)

I agree with the ladies above- I would prefer Sunday over Mon. but not
at the cost of taking away time from your family. Being so busy during
the weekdays, ourselves, the only time we get to come over is during the
weekends. The main thing is that you're still here in this sad state of
economy. Thanks for being so generous and asking what we want.... love
    you all gals!
