Gifts to Give: Gift Card Holder

I made this fun little gift card holder for Kendall the other
day.  SO easy!  SO cute!  It started out as a Creative
Imaginations 3x6 board book ($3.99).  I used 4 sheets of double
sided cardstock & some matching embellishments from the Ink line
from Fiskars.  I cut all the paper to 3 x 6 then decorated the
pages.  The pockets inside are made from that same paper.  I
just LOVE it!  It holds 6 gift cards, and I figure even if they're
all just $5 or $10 a piece, it's a really nice gift!  This Ink line
is PERFECT for teens, too!  Very funky....very hip!  And the
best part about this book?  From start to finish it only took about
an hour!

I made fake gift cards for the display...each page has a gift card
on it & then the facing page has room for a note to her.
Here's the stuff I used:

Then I made this fun page using the Ink line as well.  I was
on a roll!  The scallop border is really Jenni Bowlin Sudios Crepe
Paper Ribbon.  I just ran a line of adhesive down the back of the
strip of green & gathered it all the way down.  Super
fast...super cute.  I LOVE that stuff!  Those of you that came
to Scrap Pink will remember that I used it on your tags for your
goodies...anyway, it adds some fun dimension to projects.
