Fall Projects

We made these fun Thanksgiving cards with my girlfriends the other
day.  My initial idea was that you'd put a photo on the front &
then that person would write what they're grateful for on the
back.  It was going to have a pocket for each card & be
attached with rings & ribbon.  Then I got lazy & stuffed 3
cards in one pocket....and I LOVE it! (the leaf I used is an EK Success
punch; the photo corners I made using 2 square punches)

I made this the other day in no time flat.  It's a frame we had
lying around the store (11x14, I think with an 8x10 opening).  I
gathered up a few fall papers I love & my QuicKutz (fall &
family are Chemistry, colors is Rollerskate, the pumpkin & maple
leaf are QuicKutz, too).  Oh, and my trusty 2" square punch (the
purple one from Marvy, which is actually a little bigger than 2") and an
ink pad.  Isn't it cute?  I'm loving the fall theme of
it.  In person, the pumpkin & maple leaf have dimension, as do
the buttons & the epoxy charm in the lower left corner.  It was
fun to do...took NO time at all!  Maybe 30 minutes?

I didn't
get a photo of it yet, but the NAU gals did a really cool tree in the
front window of the store.  It's old tree branches with die cut
leaves on them that say what they're grateful for.  Stop by &
check it out!  It's super cute...and SUPER inexpensive!  Plus
EASY to re-create!

What paper crafting projects are you making for Thanksgiving?

  1. Both the frame and the cards turned out really nice!!! Very cute. The frame could be redone for changing seasons or holidays...

  2. LOVE the frame! I have wanted to do that for ages!

  3. Kirsten, these projects are FANTASTIC!!!
