A little Wednesday Inspiration

I LOVE Valentine's Day....absolutely love it!  Even more than
Christmas.  So it's no wonder that we have a ton of Valentine's Day
papers & embellishments...and today, we moved it all.  The
displays aren't quite up yet...but here's a sneak peak at something I
made today

Sweet little votive wraps, aren't they?  I have to admit the
original idea was from Better Homes & Gardens (thanks, Audra) but I
added my own twist to it...the supplies required?  one sheet 8 1/2
x11 cardstock, one sheet 12x12 printed valentine paper, two sheets of
vellum, two yards of ribbon, glue & 4 votive cups with
candles.  I used QuicKutz Tangerine letters & the heart tag
dies, but you could trace letters & cut them out with an xacto
knife.  And you could used decorative scissors for the strips of
print paper but I used our scalloped die cut for the AccuCut
machine.  Went together in no time flat!

And here's a peak of all of the Valentine's Day paper we have

We're still planning on moving everything around the store but now it
requires some electrical we'll get it done the
meantime, I'll keep posting changes as they occur....wish us luck!

This Saturday is Sharon's Altered Art Class & there are still a
few spaces left for Midnight Madness on Friday....why not give 'em a
try?  You're sure to have a great time!  Call the store at
928-526-9292 to reserve your spot.

  1. Love the votive cup wraps. Thanks for taking a simple image and creating it into something way better than I imagined!
